Teenagers Found
The boys looked for the trail for a few hours.
However, it was starting to get dark, and they were worried about Adam ’s ankle, so they decided to find a place to
spend the night. “It was
starting to get really cold,” Jones said, “so we made a fire and tried
to sleep for a few hours, John got a
burn on his hand while we were making the fire.” When asked whether they had
anything to eat, Jones
said that they had eaten most of the food that they had packed for their hike
earlier in the day. They had only a couple of bags of chips, some
almonds, and two bottles of water left in their backpacks.
